IISER Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Recruitment: Essential Qualifications:

| Senior Research Fellow (SRF) | Candidates should be have acquired Minimum qualifications: This position requires a Post graduate degree (BS-MS, M.Sc, M.Tech) in Geology, Earth Science, or Earth and Environmental Sciences from a recognized University/Institute. The candidate should have a fundamental knowledge of basic geology, field work, igneous petrology, thin section making, petrography with preferable knowledge/experience in geochemistry, also two years’ experience working as JRF is mandatory. Desirable: ● This position will be centered on field sampling, thin section preparation, petrographic studies and geochemistry. ● Prior experience in operating instruments such as petrothin, grinders and polishers, weighing balance, bead preparation system, XRF, ICPMS, highly desirable. ● Experience with analysis of geochemical data is valuable. ● The position requires excellent English communication (oral and written) skills. |
