| Assistant Professor (Technical Forestry) | Candidates should be have acquired Minimum qualification for Assistant Professor position on contract: Should have a Ph.D. in the field of Botany/Forestry with relevant teaching/ training /research experience on forest ecosystem management/ community forestry/ Agro forestry/ livelihood support of forest products and service management with a first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and atleast three years of teaching/ research/forestry/industrial experience at graduate/ postgraduate level and publications in Scopus/peer-reviewed journals. However, excluding, the experience gained while pursuing PhD. All qualifications must be from a recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE approved autonomous Institution (wherever applicable). The Courses offered by autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
