Territorial Army – TA Army Employment in Departmental & Non-Departmental Units

Territorial Army ( TA) :  A Voluntary, Part Time Citizen’s Army. TA: a Part of Indian Army.

The Indian Territorial Army is a second line of defence after the Regular Indian Army and it was founded on 9th October 1949. There are more than 200000 troops in Territorial Army (TA). TA has shown immense engagements in the times of calamities.
