KGBV Teacher Recruitment: Essential Qualifications:

It is mandatory to have graduation qualification from a recognized board/ university in any related subject (the subject for which full- time teacher is being applied for the posts marked at serial no. 1, 2 and 3) with minimum 50 per cent marks. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Tribe and Disabled category will be given 5 percent relaxation in the minimum marks mentioned above in this rule. Higher educational qualification and marks obtained will be given priority in selection. B.Ed. or equivalent examination from a recognized institution such as passing in teacher training examination in two- year diploma in elementary education. Bachelor in Physical Education/ Degree in Physical Education will be mandatory for Physical Teacher. Check KGBV Notification for more details. |
