Pay Scale and Salary Details for Junior Teacher Post:

First Three Years as Junior Teacher (Schematic): Rs. 11,000/- per month excluding EPF of employer share.

Next 03 Years as Junior Teacher: Rs. 13,800/- per month excluding EPF of employer share.

After 06 years of continuous and Satisfactory service will be appointed as Regular Elementary Teacher: Rs. 23,600/- per month and D.A., HRA, and other allowances.

OSEPA Junior Teacher Recruitment: Essential Qualifications & Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

(a) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2002.

OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Diploma in Elementary Education ( B.El.Ed.).
OR

Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR

Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

b. Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I)
c. Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class-X or pass in odia language test equivalent to Matric standard conducted or declared equivalent by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha except for the candidates as mentioned under Para 5.2.

Candidate’s age limit should be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 13th September 2023.
