IIT Kanpur Job Opening Details for Sr. Project Engineer Vacancies:

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D./ MTech. + 3 years in a relevant stream with strong proven skills in Computer Vision and Deep Learning

Desirable Skill Set:

-Strong background in algorithms for vision and image processing Experience with Pattern Recognition, DNN used in computer vision
-Knowledge of machine learning frameworks, tools and deployments (Caffe, Pytorch, TensorFlow)
-Fundamental understanding and hands on experience with, Image classification, Object Detection Image segmentation, Text detection and recognition, Pose and Depth estimation etc. techniques.
-Experience in working with robots/industrial hardware and model optimisation for hardware deployment is desirable.
-Experience working with sensory payloads such as RGB/CMOS cameras, IR Thermal Imaging cameras etc. is a plus.
-Good presentation, report preparation and inter-personal skills
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
