| Medical Epidemiologist | Candidates should be have acquired Essential Qualifications & Experience: PhD in Microbiology / Community Medicine/ Infectious Disease/ Epidemiology/ Public Health with minimum 2 years relevant experience OR MD in Microbiology / Community Medicine/ Infectious Disease/ Epidemiology/ Public Health with minimum 6 years relevant experience. OR MBBS with 8 years’ experience Candidate should have • A clear understanding of epidemiologic principles and methods, biostatistical methods, and general public health. • Background knowledge on infectious disease epidemiology, including the following disease areas: malaria, tuberculosis, vaccine preventable diseases and neglected tropical diseases (lymphatic filariasis, visceral leishmaniasis). • Experience analysing large data sets. Desirable Experience ● 8 years of experience in medical epidemiology, equipped with a deep understanding of epidemiological principles and methodologies ● Prior knowledge of EpiInfo or other statistical software tools ● Ability to work in a multicultural team environment ● Ability to respond to urgent tasks given tight timelines of a project.Check IIT Notification for more details. |
