Tech / M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/ Earth Science/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Meteorology/Climate Science/Oceanography/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering or equivalent And Qualified in National Level Examinations like CSIR-UGC-NET(LS), GATE, JEST or equivalent OR BS-MS/MSc students from any of the IISERs/IITs/IISc with CGPA 8 or above on a 10-point scale are exempted from national level test eligibility related criteria Desirable qualifications Background in Tropical Meteorology, with a focus on monsoon dynamics or low pressure systems. Sound understanding of Fluid Dynamics, particularly as it applies to large-scale atmospheric circulation. Proficiency in Python programming, including use of scientific libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikitlearn, xarray).
