(Tech)/ M.Sc. or equivalent) in Geophysics /Applied Geophysics /Geology/Physics or related fields from a recognized university/Institute with a valid score in GATE/CSIR-NET. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade Point out of 10) (55% / 6 CGPA for SC/ST) in their master’s. 2. Desirable: (a) Candidate with working knowledge in the field of crust and upper mantle structure, attenuation characteristics, modelling and Inversion, etc. (b) Knowledge of Python /MATLAB/Fortran or any other programming language.
