| Project Lab Assistant | Candidates should be have acquired Essential Qualification: Applicants should have a B.Sc. in Life Sciences or related subjects with a knowledge of functioning of pathogenic virus research lab, with a sound knowledge of basic microbiological techniques such as microbiological media preparation, plasmid and genomic DNA isolation, preparation of agarose and poly-acrylamide gels, PCR and preparation of laboratory reagents, and handling of biological samples and instruments such as autoclave. Desirable: An experience (3-4 years) of working in reputed organization/department(s) in managing the lab, routine documentations, and knowledge of biosafety rules are desirable.
