Goa PSC Job Opening Details for Technical Examiner, Assistant Professor, Assistant Technical Examiner & Other Vacancies:

Master Degree with atleast 50% marks(or its equivalent) from a recognized University in the subject as specified above, applicable to the relevant post and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from a recognized Institution by the National Council for Teacher Education. OR Master Degree with atleast 45% marks(or its equivalent) from a recognized University in the subject as specified above, applicable to the relevant post and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) from a recognized Institution by the National Council for Teacher Education. OR Master Degree with atleast 50% marks(or its equivalent) from a recognized University in the subject as specified above, applicable to the relevant post and B. A. Ed/B.SC. Ed from a recognized Institution by the National Council for Teacher Education. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Degree in Law from a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of local revenue laws, laws governing maintenance of law and order, planning and development works. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi. Note: In case of non-availability of the candidates in the category of PwD, the equal number of posts to be kept vacant from General Category.

Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. Knowledge of Marathi.

Candidate’s age limit should be 45 yrs to apply for the position.
