(i) Ph.D Degree with a First class at Master‘s or Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering in the specific area of specialization, as per Para 3 above, from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (ii) A minimum eight years of experience in teaching, research and / or industry at the level of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree. (iii) A significant contribution to knowledge in the subject concerned, as evidenced by the quality publications. |
