InStem Job Opening Details for Postdoctoral Fellow Vacancies:

Essential Qualification & Experience

– Candidate must have a PhD in biochemistry, analytical
chemistry, microbiology and post PhD research experience.
– Candidate must have hands-on experience in mass
spectrometry and HPLC, with demonstrated expertise in
stable-isotope based carbon/nitrogen tracking using mass spectrometry.
– Candidate must have experience in using yeast, bacteria and other microbial model systems to study metabolism.
– Candidate must have research experience studying
metabolite/secondary metabolite production and
exchange
– Candidate must have strong molecular biology and
microbial genetics background, including experience in strain knockouts and use of CRISPR/CAS systems
