IIT Bhilai Job Opening Details for Junior Research Fellow Vacancies:

Qualifications:

Applicants must have ONE of the following in Physics, mathematics, and other relevant domains:
1. Master’s degree in science with first class 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent.
2. Master’s degree in engineering/Technology with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or
equivalent.
3. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Technology with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or
equivalent.
4. Bachelor’s degree in science (4 years) with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or
equivalent.
Applicants must also fulfill ONE of the following additional requirements.
1. Valid GATE Score.
2. Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of CSIR/ UGC/ NBHM/ DBT/ ICAR/ ICMR/ ICPR/DAE or DST
INSPIRE Fellowship.
3. Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
4. BTech from IIT with a CPI/CGPA of 8.0 or more.

Preference will be given to candidates having a good knowledge of the following topics (anyone or
more than one),
– Python/MATLAB-based programming for image/data processing/machine automation.
– Material/Nanofabrication and characterization.
